I think stressing out over eating beef that wasn't well done, is worse than eating the beef!
Stop worrying! You'll be ok!

That is so retarded. Anything can carry bacteria, etc and make you sick. Deli meat is totally okay. I ate them when I was pregnant, and if someone tells you it's bad, it's because they are either dirty or ignorant. Probably never been pregnant. And they probably leave their deli meat outside of the fridge or not sealed in a container in the fridge. I'm sure if you asked your doctor, he or she will say it's fine. Don't let anyone freak you out because if you really think about it, if deli meats are that bad for pregnant women's babies, then you will definitely hear about it everywhere on the news. The only thing I worried about was the raw fish in sushi. I only ate the cooked stuff.

I'm sure your baby is fine. Undercooked meat can pose the risk of having bacteria and causing listeriosis. But this condition is very rare. I don't think slightly undercooked beef would hurt you. It's not like you ate it raw! If the meat was warm, which it obviously was in order to be cooked, then I see no reason to worry. Best wishes.

your fine,
people over react way too much when someone is pregnant. Theres so many don'ts now that its hard to keep track of them.
As long as it was steak and not ground beef you are completly fine, I ate rare steak at my work and asked my doctor and he said people need to stop freaking pregnant people out I can eat anything I want in moderation.

Women shouldn't eat undercooked meat while they are pregnant for the same reasons why they shouldn't eat while they aren't. If the beef is tainted in any way, it could hurt your baby. You would feel symptoms if something was wrong with the meat you ate. I love to eat my steak rare, but since I've been pregnant, I have been eating it well done.

Not at all.. lots of pregnant woman eat rare steaks... it won't hurt you. As long as it was a whole peice of beef you're fine.. ground beef is different, it is exposed to bacteria all over and needs to be cooked throughly.

If it was ground beef, there is a chance you could get something if the meat was tainted. If it was a steak, as long as it was seared on the outside you will be fine.

i really wouldn't worry about it.. those online arcticles are only a guide and they change on a daily basis anyways.
you're in your 3rd trimester and well out of the miscarry stage, so eating one portion of semi rare meat wouldn't be a problem. at least it WAS cooked :)

I am pretty sure the baby will be fine. Unless you ate enough for like 3 or so ppl, then there really is nothing to worry about. Now if it was still really bloody, then you might want to check with your doctor.
