i was on the shot for 3 yrs. i got off recently and my boyfriend condom slipped off and now i think i'm pregnant

You can get pregnant right away off Depo, however they recommend waiting a few months as you still have high hormonal levels which can cause birth problems.

It could be anywhere from ON the shot, immediately AFTER the shot, or it could take a few years. Some women have had to see a fertility specialist.
Get a pregnancy test if you think you are pregnant.

I was on the shot for 3yrs too.
My doc told me that: the shot MAY make u sterile (u cant get pregnant ever) or it MAY take up take up to a year.
BUT that doesnt mean anything! the only thing u can do it take a pregnancy test!

It took me 7 month of trying after getting off Depo
