You're likely to get variations within fractions; in any answers here. I suspect "STANDARD" is a relative word.

Mine happen to be 34 - 1/2 inches to the cabinet tops with another 1 - 1/2 inch WORK top.

One could assume variations depending on custom or packaged; store bought; and their own HEIGHT or comfort level. Obviously someone 4' 11" tall; might be as uncomfortable with a 36 inch high work top, as someone 6' 8" inches tall. Consider that no matter all that; A COMFORT ZONE is what should be in ones thinking.

The countertop is 36". The cabinet below is 34-1/2" which allows 1-1/2" for the countertop itself. Backsplash is a standard 4".

Standard is 36".

My son is tall and his kitchen level needed additional height so he doesn't have to bend so much. We added an extra 4" on bottom of each base cabinet.

My one kitchen wall has counter 2" taller. I put wheels on one base cabinet and had neighboring base cabinet heightened to match. The one on wheels can not be an island when desired.

36 inches
You can have custom cabinets made to any height you want.
I installed cabinets that were 48" high for a couple of tall people. She 6'-3" and he 6'5" tall.
