Pathetic.
Disgusting.
Makes me want to send a pack of angry Dr. Phil's after any man that beats their wife, and vice versa.
Violence is not the answer.

Oh, geez, this crap needs to die! The "so called relationship expert" is a Muslim, advising other muslim men how to treat their wives. Actuallyl, it's toned down a lot from the rhetoric that Muslims usually take. ALL Muslims are advised to beat their wives, daughters and female relatives, except for their mothers. That's a Muslim belief. If you're not a muslim, why should it bother you? This has been going on for thousands of years.

As an American born Iranian that follows Shi'ite Islam I say this:
Saudis predominantly follow the Wahhabi version of Islam which is a perverted and extremist form of Islam. NOT genuine Islam. Similar to radical Evangelical Christianity that the fox news folks live by.

A female American Muslim journalist from the Washington Post did an article on this not too long ago. I'm not sure if it was this man she interviewed, but one of men she interviewed who advocating a "light beating" for "disobedient wives" was questioned as to if he uses these methods with his own wife. His response? "My wife is from Texas. Do you know what she would do to me?"

Well he wasn't clear enough. He said a whole bunch of ways they weren't allowed to beat them, but he didn't give an example of an acceptable way of beating them.

They point at our divorce rates and say things like we have bad relationship skills too you know. How are we measuring who is right here?

Anyway, what are we going to do about it? Go to war with them and force them to stop engaging in types of violence? Somehow I think that would send mixed messages.

Women in this country should be treated as equals and there is no room for anything else. We are humans beings and that is that, we should be treated accordingly. Any man that wishes to hit and miss treat a woman can come and talk to me, good luck buddy!

Why would anyone need to resort to physical violence in the first place? Marital problems should be resolved by talking to each other, or having dialogue, not by physical violence! Beating... that's just terrible and uncalled for.

And they have the gall to claim Islam is a religion of peace...Yeah, if we all beat our wives the world would be a MUCH better place (NOT!)

He advocates beating animals and children equally!

Leave it to Fox to think this is newsworthy.

Islam should be ashamed of people like this.
