i live in Royalton IL,and really want to find an acting school near me.whether its at an Universaty or just private lessons please help me out!

Southern Illinois University at Carbondale has a good theatre department. Great facilities, a good radio and TV department to network with and also a respectable playwriting department. I found my time there a great help in my acting career.

Don't think there area any acting schools in Southern Illinois. Where is Royalton in realtionship to other cities in Southern Illinois? Southern Illinois University at Carbondale has an outstanding theatre department, but a college theatre major is far different from studying acting at an acting school. In Southern, IL? I don't think so. Northwestern (School of Drama) is where you would want to go. And believe me, you will need every cent you have got!
