I think its pretty obvious that doing that will not make a difference. But couldn't you argue that the value of the dollar might fall even more because we took off "in good we trust." I'm sure the religious people of the country wouldn't be too happy about it, but would it make them value a dollar any less? It doesn't really matter whats written on the dollar.

I dont think people really care what is said on the actual money. The value is down because of the credit crunch due the sub prime mortgage lending, meaning consumer confidence is down and less dollars are being traded.

i don't think so, i think the value of the dollar would go back up if the United States and the govt take a few steps back and look into their garden and not into their pockets. the US needs to look at the garden of values, fix, change, or fertilize it, so the American values can grow and mature once again.
