tying plants with......?

my mother cuts up and uses my old school tights for tying up her tomato plants etc..but it l tell her to use her own as mine are "Black" Opaque [stand out too much] while hers are skin/brown colour,,but she reckons as mine are 60 denier they last longer ...nobody uses black tights for tying up plants do they..?

I do. Or you can use skin colored nylons because they are durable and they blend in well. Hope this helps.

I use whatever is cheapest at the Dollar store. I get the knee highs and cut them up for ties.
