You always see the question " Can Men and Women really be friends?" and most of the time it's asked by women. My question is- who cares? I mean really, as a man who's not here to ruffle feathers or stir the pot or anything- Just being honest-- women dont make that great of friends for a man anyway. I'm talking about real friends- not casual friends but serious complimentary complete friends.
Real shyt, what subject is there out there where I'd rather have a woman's cooperation(a woman whom I'm not F^ing mind you) than a man? Business/Finance? (No) Entertainment? (No) Sports? (No) Politics? (No) Women? (No) Name one. Hey. Hey! I love having women as a casual " Hey how ya doin!" type friend. Having women as " Hey get your girls together, lets go to the club" type friend. But really if you take away the sexual tension, in all honesty a woman makes like 54% as good a friend as another man. You agree or what?

The same chick that asked that last week also asked how she could break a guy down without using sex. She wanted him to "eat out of the palm of her hand" without offering anything sexual.
Basically, the point of "women being friends with guys" is to get the guy to fall in love with them without having to reciprocate in any way. They want the guy to PROVIDE for them and they want to add that guy to their collection of guys they can choose from.
That's it.

not sure I have a few male friends okay 2 one is gay the other is engaged! yeah!
we talk about life! and the issues that arrise he don't like sports but he is a personal trainor!
we talk about life issues and personal issues. about his ex who is still a friend of mine. We talk about our goals and books and tv and music! maybe because he don't like sports we can talk!
we also talk anything and everything you would with the guys!
but then again all my friends have been guys i maybe had one female friends
so with that being said females are hard to be friend with so i take all of it back i'll go with 60 perecent cuz most do nothing but stab you in the back and try to out do you!
i guess i'm one of those good ones!
don't forget the biggest game of the year is on sunday at 4

I have a female friend who, due to our personality conflicts i know I can never have a relationship with, but who has a fascinating grasp of cultural and esoteric knowledge. We like to watch movies together, go to museums and interest attractions and talk for hours, sometimes casual chatter, sometimes more argumentative (remember, personality conflicts). We know that a relationship between us would be a disaster but we're good friends and enjoy eachother's company.

You're generalizing too much. For all you know, there are hundreds of women out there who can discuss all those things better than any man. If you open your mind a little, you'll find that they do exist.

You sound very young. When you get older and are in a stable relationship and are not interested in clubbing and casual sex any longer, true friendships do not have gender boundaries.
