does anyone know if microsoft is making a new console and when it will be realeased not 360 and how long has 360 been released?

XBox 360 came out in November of 2005.
And new systems are always in development. I kinda have a feeling this generation of systems will last a descent amount of time. Just cuz they're so expensive now. Kids can't afford a new system every 3 or 4 years or whatever. I still know quite a few people playing PS2. I mean, that's kinda cool. It's great a system can survive like that, but it shows that lots of people don't have the money or aren't willing to spend the money for a next-generation system.
But anyway, I'm thinking XMas time 2010 for a new XBox.

The 360 has been out about 2 years. The original Xbox lasted 4 years so the 360 may last about the same amount of time but I'd say max 3 more years.

I don't think they are making a new console, the XBOX 360 has probably been out for 3 or 4 years. There is the XBOX 360 Elite, the XBOX 360 and the normal XBOX

I would think that both Microsoft and Sony are working on the next platforms, but I think that right now is too soon for them to anounce anything on them.
