Because I might have to work tomorrow. Ughhh, I hate working weekends.

The short, polite version of it is: The longer I'm alive on this earth, the more things change. Which wouldn't be so bad, but so far, all of the changes have *completely Sucked*.
Really. I was *born in* a country with real elections, two real political parties....and now, I don't even recognize my own nation anymore as a Free Country, it's become a one-party system in fact if not by law. When I was a kid, I had hope for the future...everybody was talking about flying cars, or at least ones that *didn't need gasoline*. People were wondering when we'd have the robots and when we'd live on the moon.
And now, the only really advanced things we have are our telephones. -_-
And it gets more gnar-gnar from there, but yeah. -_- Point of it is, there just aren't a whole *lot* of good things happening in this world lately. I'm not even sure I have a country I can call a *home* anymore, and I'm really not sure I belong to the same *species* as most of the humanoids around me....
It feels like....I'm a relic. A dinosaur. A relic of a day and age when we *had* hope for the future and *did not* live in fear. And my anger comes from a heartfelt and *deeply frustrated* desire to change things *back to better* again.

because I have a 3-day weekend and I'm sick! that's happened the last 3 weeks too!!!!!! ARGH!!!
