My closest friends are male and female...
About a 50/50 split actually.

My closest friends are male. I think that's only natural because you generally have much more in common with members of the same sex. You can completely cut loose and say or do just about anything around your buddies. When I'm around females, I have to watch my behavior which can be a drag, but I do have a number of very close friends that are female.

Female but only since I've been married...before I got married my closest friends were male but now my husband doesn't want me to have any close male friends so I don't have a choice. If I did, they'd probably be male. I do like my girl friends, though...they relate to me.

not just the closest, all of them are female. I have no male friends. In my school, they're either immature or geeks

I've always gotten along with males better than females...there r a lot of bitches & catty women out there...I really hate that!
