something to make for xmas plz help?

i dont have much money for christmas and my mum and dad wanted me to make somthing for them. i was thinking something rustic and sort of nature like. but i also want to make it really really big. has anybody got any ideas it doesnt matter about buying things for it because i have about 5 pounds for materials. plz help

Can you knit or crochet? Cause it's cheap to buy the needles/hook and yarn.

I'm in the US so I don't know how much 5 pounds is, but for not too much money, you could get some kind of grapevine base at a craft store. Then you can decorate it using ribbon, silk flowers, artificial fruit, whatever you like and a glue gun. You could get stuff from outside like pine cones, and twigs and spray paint them gold or silver...depends on what your parents' decor looks like. Scrounge around the house and see what's there.

A long time ago, I made a watercolor painting of a pretty and very simple Christmas card. I framed that for my dad and he really loved it.

Go on a nature walk and look for pinecones of all sizes(not the sticky ones) nuts, acorns. then you need to get a wire frame from a craft store and glue and a glue gun. Here is a link for youbelow. I have made many of these and each one is different, the sky is the limit. You can add little lights or berries or ribbons(just use your imagination) Be careful though,it's addictive and everybody will want one!

I am a mom and I would absolutely love a professional photo of my kids. Love it.
Another idea is this: if you sew, make them a patchwork quilt out of scraps of old family clothes that no one wears any more.

How about some pottery you make yourself ??
Or what about a birdhouse you could build out of wood?
