I'm not familiar with what type of socialist Hilary Clinton is alleged to be (there are many different models from around the Globe, both presently and historically). However, I am familiar with various types of twentieth-century fascism [Fascism is an authoritarian political ideology (generally tied to a mass movement) that considers individual and other societal interests subordinate to the interests of the state. Fascists seek to forge a type of national unity, usually based on (but not limited to) ethnic, cultural, or racial attributes. Various scholars attribute different characteristics to fascism, but the following elements are usually seen as its integral parts: nationalism, statism, militarism, totalitarianism, anti-communism, corporatism, populism, collectivism, and opposition to economic and political liberalism.-Wikipedia]. It sure looks like we are as close to living with fascism as we perhaps ever have. So... if you're okay with fascism, why the fuss about socialism?

Very good job, with trying to say America is Fascist. However you are wrong. Most facist governments yes want unity in some of the above criteria you mention (ethinc and racial)however they do not want the other ethincs and races in their country and will kill, arrest, deport all the others. America does not meet that criteria. So your thesis on how America is a facist country is debunked.

Now let's look at some of your other ideas: The "intergral parts" of facisim:

Nationalism: I guess in your world to have a better country you need to hate your country and not be proud of your country.

Statism: same as nationalism.

Militarism: is it wrong to protect your citizens? or should we lay down our defenses and allow any country to come here and take over.

Totalitarianism: I agree that no country should be able to take over the world. Now I know you will make a smart a ss comment about the Iraq war here, however, Saddam brought the war on himself, if he had a) followed the cease fire sanctions and b) not supported terrorism, he would have been in no danger to lose his country.

Anti-communism: I don't get this at all, if you are against freedom, you are a facist?

Corporatism: Another one I don't understand. If you are against business how do you obtain goods? Should we go back to hunters and farmers and thats it? Is the company that made your computer you typed this question on evil? Is yahoo evil? What makes a corportation evil? Why are corporations bad? Are there any good corportations?

Populism, collectivism: No idea what you mean by this

Opposition to economic and political liberalism: So in your estimation that if you are not a liberal, then you are a facisit? there is no middle ground? Seems a bit closed minded for a "liberal". It doesn't seem to "progressive" does it?

By the way Wikipedia, is not a factual encyclopedia. it is a collection of inforamtion (sometimes false) by users of the internet, most citiations are not even checked.

That is indeed the real fight of our times.

The rule of a government servant the Rich, Or a government that is the servant of all the people. Winger propaganda has tried to link all the Totalitarian Dictatorships with Socialism, but in fact they adopted the name like they adopted the name Democracy to get people to think that the name meant the reality.

For the "purest" Socialism you would have to take Scandinavia as the example, and they are doing the best in the world. Actual Socialism was assisted by the FDR socialists to rebuild Western Europe and create the ideal in a better fashion than was possible in the US.

As a result Western Europe went from total devastation to a greater standard of living than America where they have maimed and killed most of the prohuman laws that FDR was able to get passed, and moved ever closer to the very Fascism that Europe was so devastated trying to rid it self from.

What is very interesting is that REAL Socialism is basically where a Libertarian would end up if they realized that all power needs to be held accountable, rather than the "Privatize Power" fallacy that is the (mostly deliberate?) blind spot of political Libertarians.

Fascism IS socialism gone wrong.

"a mass movement that considers individual and other societal interests subordinate to the interests of the state"

Typically, they achieve their militarism and corporatism by playing on the good intentions of the voting public, such as using populist rhetoric on nationalism or compassion for the poor to support corporate welfare.

Is Hillary a militarist & collectivist? Has she not threatened repeatedly to bomb Iran, and voted to label them as "terrorist supporters? Doesn't she sit on the arms appropriation committee, and raise more contributions from weapons manufacturers than any other candidate? Has she not stated that you will be expected to give up your wealth and freedom to serve the greater good?

So what exactly is the difference between fascism and socialism? Other than the naive belief that some supremely rich & powerful government will suddenly have your best interests in mind...

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents, and false government.

Neither. Its better to be a Libertarian. Liberty is preferable to socialism and fascism any day of the week. Unless you're not American. Then you may not understand the concept of Liberty/freedom.
