you can overcome it by thinking you are better than that person, and you always were. there will always be people out there (guys in particular) who will use you and there will always be people who will treat you right. you just have to figure out which ones are the good ones and which ones are the bad ones. you just made the wrong choice in trusting that person, but now you know what to look out for and will hopefully do better in the next relationship or friendship.

Be the better person, and brush it off your shoulders. You did nothing wrong, the other person was the loser. Just stay strong, and don't let me see it made you mad or sad. Who needs them?
