Have you noticed the government's, nasty nonsense "nannying" creeping into the private sector? ...

take this example.. a friend of mine is employed at the local co-op and they now are not allowed to sell eggs to young people, because they think they will use them in anger..
What are we afraid of?
Suicide eggers, eggaddicts or serial eggers

What's next no bacon to under 21's in case they smoke it!!
my solution ...ban hens...problem solved.

How would you like your eggs sir ?grilled, poached or nannied to death
Don't think I havent got personal experience of this..yes I was the victim of a drive by egging (and by the looks of the shell it was extra large calibre)...I survived although my trousers needed washing.
you can join up at 16 but alone in charge of an egg ..no way

you cannot guard against stupidity ....

I will have to ask you to empty your fridge of the lethal weapons you have been storing.. apparently you cannot be trusted ...
Has the world gone mad ???

The source is local co-op policy, their own decision to do this ...

That really made me smile, and yes the world has gone mad and the sad thing about it is ,we are letting them get away with it. So I will check my fridge, I know I have a cucumber, I wonder what I could do with that?

"... we all need to die to be sin free as per Romans 6:7......." - If this were true, the Yeshua died in vain, because - once we all die - we "are free from sin", right? Wrong. Sin is the error Man took after Adam's transgression. Once the body is burned, there exist no error. Deleted. That does not mean WE DESERVE ANYTHING, and the fact is, as Yeshua said, we "are slaves good for nothing" that deserve to die, because the ONLY thing that the Law brings in, is death. After Yeshua's resurrection (The First one), many were 'changed' in an instant at their death, and that 'corruptible' was transformed into incorruptible. They are now in an abode with Him in the House of His Father "where there exist many Mansions" and they will come with Him "as in a cloud" when He returns with His saints. Those who He does not recognize as "His sheep" may have to wait until the Resurrection at the end of the 1000 years, where there will be - for some - a Resurrection of Life, and for others a Resurrection of Judgment. The realm of those loyal to Him is the Universe, the Planets ("the stones of fire" originally given to the Spiritual creatures that later on rebelled against God). Things will return to the conditions existent at the very beginning, again, and He will Reign as a King again. btw, you do not need to be a JW to read the Scriptures and let someone tell you what they mean. It's there for all, be free. Read. Learn, The Truth shall make you free.

Yes it does sound silly on the face of it but I expect anybody who has had to fork out £500 or so to fix egg damage to their cars would see it differently.

The eggs that children use for acts of vandalism are probably the cheapest available which means they will have been produced by battery chickens in inhumane conditions. It's one thing to allow these conditions to feed the poor. Something else to allow it to enable the retards a few moments of fun.

Yes this Government has gone mad, they should get their priorities right not keep banning this that and the other, but in this case it was to try and stop yobs egging people's houses, this can really intimidate people and is not very nice, so good on the Co-op.

In a word yes. In my local Morrisons, if I buy alcohol the cashier is required to ask if I am over 18. I'm bloody 39, and it's not like there could be any possible confusion, but they just shrug as if to say 'We know it's daft, but we've been told by our bosses'. It's a joke. This country has become a joke. And it's all down to Labour.

In the UK we've heard more of these ridiculous laws creeping in. In my opinion it's because local decision making is being taken away and being replaced by a few lunatics that are governing centrally and in Europe. True democracy is taken away, sometimes without our knowledge and certainly without our vote. We're being dumbed down to such an extent that we're either powerless or don't care, I feel that we should fight these idiot quangos.

As you have not given a link to any law nor any indication to where you live, I'll venture a guess here:
The Co-op has decided they are not going to sell eggs to "young people".

I have never heard of a law at the state, local or federal level that restricts egg sales nor seen a sign indicating this in any store I have visited.

I do not worry about "the Nanny State" as much as I worry about the PREACHER State, which the Republican Party is all for.
