The Patriots have only been around since 1960 and they didn't start making any history for themselves until 2002.
Before that the Patriots were painful to watch and didn't have half the fan base they do now.

The Red Sox were established in 1901 and have a much loyal following and fan base. Sox fans have stuck with the Sox win or lose.

The Red Sox is the pulse of Boston and the city could not live without them. The Patriots just are there yet. So for now it's just Red Sox Nation.

Yeah, you're only a century behind! The Steeler Nation has been around forever & Pittsburgh already has had championship teams in multiple major sports in the same season.

No, it sounds corny, so does Red Sox nation. You don't need additional silly names to root for your teams. It's a media inspired deal.

How original, so much for just enjoying a franchise's success. Typical, and good luck with the paper champion Celtics, thats counts for something right?

To me, that sounds like you're copying the Red Sox. How about if you called it something unique. "Patriot Army", or "Minutemen" comes to mind.

Yeah, you can join the Raider Nation and form the evil alliance while you're at it.

Minutemen would be good. Cause you're all minute (small) men.
