Why are the right so frightened of Hilary?
Don't worry, you can still have bathroom stall parties after the elections are over.

Such a silly argument. We already send Condoleeza Rice to the Middle East on a regular basis to deal with those countries and believe me - she touches any piece of paper she wishes to. You need to learn some history. Middle Eastern leaders have been dealing with women heads of state for decades with no disrespect shown them whatsoever. It's really sort of funny to think any of them would refuse to deal with us because we have a woman President. This is an argument that largely comes from folks who have problems with their own comfort zone when they think of a female President. And looking at it from another direction - who cares if they don't like it? The world is changing. Women heads of state are popping up all over the globe, it's them who will forced to catch up, and it's about time.

That's funny. The Palestinians had Hanan Ashrawi as their chief spokewoman and negotiator for several years. Why didn't you object to Condi Rice as our Secretary of State?

Condi seems to be doing OK dealing with Arab leaders (and snubbing Persian ones), so I'm guessing it's not really that big an issue.

Remarkably, a majority of all Muslims in the world live in countries that have, at some time, elected women as their leaders. Four of the five most populous Muslim-majority countries have had women as leaders:
Indonesia, the most populous Muslim-majority country, elected Megawati Sukarnoputri as president. Pakistan, the second most populous Muslim-majority country, twice (non-consecutively) elected Benazir Bhutto as prime minister
Bangladesh, the third most populous Muslim-majority country, elected Khaleda Zia and Sheikh Hasina as prime ministers
Turkey, the fifth most populous Muslim-majority country, elected Tansu Ãiller as prime minister[

Unfortunately there is a good likely hood she will win. I do not disagree with her because she is a woman. Women have just as many rights as men. They are 50% population. (Give or take a % point). I think its great there is a serious woman contender for our highest public office. I am just extremely saddened by the fact that its hillary clinton.

So how come the Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, and Indonesians have all had women leaders?
You're gonna have to try a whole lot harder than this, bud!
I mean, really, why don't we just NOT elect her since she's a bum married to a bum; wasn't one bum bad enough to understand that electing a bum's bum isn't a very good idea?
