When are you people going to wake up and realize your country has been wiped out from under you while you walk around in a fog still thinking there is a difference between Dem and Repub at the power level?
If you still think that, there is no limit to how fooled you can become even still.

Conservatism is not necessarily about conserving as you put it.
Conservatism is about limiting government control in my life. Its about creating an environment where you and I can be successful without government assistance. Its about planning for the future. Not jumping to conclusions at the drop of a hat. Its about planning. Its about research. Its about doing the right thing and sometimes that makes people angry. Often the tough decisions are not always the popular ones. But in the long run, effects the most people in a positive manner.

Nothing worthwhile, certainly. Not a single social improvement in this country has ever come from conservatism. The end of slavery, voting rights for women, the 40-hour work week, all originated with social progressives. Conservatives never gave this country anything, and judging from their recent record they never will.
