There was this sad little bar in Downtown San Diego, always full of real drunks. Mandy is one that they all sang along with on the Jukebox...that and "Don't go changing, to try and please me..." They all blubbered into their beer mugs when that one came on...

Mandy? No. But...(hanging head in shame) I do like his songs, "Copacabana" and "I write the songs". I guess it's one of those things about liking the music your parents played you were young. I'm kind of sentimental about Johnny Cash and The Captain & Tennille too. I will flat break out in tears when I hear Johnny Mathis singing "Chances Are", as that was my late mother's favorite song. If I would have been thinking straight at the time, I would have tried to get somebody to sing that at her funeral.
