I'm doing this senior project and I decided to do how caffeine effects plant growth, so I was wondering on which plants i should use for my experiment. Thanks a lot for your ideas and recommendations :D

I'd suggest either or both beans or corn. They're both easy to get, cheap, and grow quickly.

I'm with G.C. - it just seems so appropriate to use coffee plants, but hcb has a good point. I'm just wondering, though - why caffeine? What do you expect it to do? Why would you expect it to have any effect whatsoever on the plants?
