how to tell a rich man from a poor man?

Do you really think you can tell a rich or poor man by his outside appearance??? Guess again!!!

One case and point: My Father is a wealthy man. He is very modest and conservative. He is in his mid 70's. I swear, he has clothing items left over from the 1950's. "Fashion" is not on his top ten things to worry about.

He walks daily. Once, he saw a man struggling to load logs into a trailer. He walked up to the man and offered to help him. The man thought my Dad was a street person, begging for money and ran him off!!

As the old saying goes....you can't always judge a book by it's cover!

Interesting question. I guess by differentiating a rich man from a poor man is by the car he drives, the house he lives in ( New York penthouse or Mexico cottage lol ), the way and brand he dresses ( Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana ) and yes, by the way he talks and walks also! Hahaha, a rich man will have more poise ( this is not certain as poor men sometimes have poise too ) and rich men is more well groomed! hope that helps.

If they were both naked and wore nothing but a towel, you could still tell. A rich man will meet your eyes. He will look AT YOU and he will make the best of the situation instead of letting it embarrass him. He'll meet you face to face until you prove you aren't worth his time.

A poor man won't meet your eyes. Even if he was fully dressed, he would be less willing to meet your eyes. He knows he is poor and because he tells everyone else he knows that by how he behaves, he will probably always be poor.

Stand up tall. Like yourself. Be proud of your accomplishments, even the humble ones. You are richer than you think.

A rich man has love and support from his family and friends. He doesn't necessarily have to have alot of money, a fast car or a big house. A poor man is one that has no love in his life.
