I've tried everything The Best thing to do is pore Borax on it. Borax lifts the urine and takes the smell.
If the stain is old/dry wet the stain with water first then pore on the borax, let it set there till the borax is dry. Then sweep most of it up and vacuum the rest.

Think of the visible stain as the tip of the "iceberg" there is a much larger stain soaked in the pad under the carpet.
Like the others said, get a carpet stain remover for pets.
Spray a little further outside of the circumference of the stain around it, then work the spray towards the middle of the stain.
Here's the gross part: Put on some gloves and get a spoon.
Work the side of the spoon combing the outside of the stain in towards the middle of the stain. Press HARD or you won't get anything out. Work the outside of the stain "scraping" it hard til you get to the middle of the stain, then get an absorbent towel- or even carpet stain wipes and blot the carpet HARD, til you can notice a difference.
Get a fan and put it near the carpet- its realllly important to dry it out. Some places even sell carpet fans that would work best, but its fine to have a smaller fan.
Hopefully that works. If it doesnt, repeat the process or buy a different remover.

Woolite makes a Oxypet cleaner it works very well. I have animals in the house and this does the trick every time one has an accident or the cat decides to put a fur ball on the carpet for me.

It sounds to me like you didn't get all the urine out for the carpet..Try cleaning it again...I know that they sell carpet cleaning stuff at the pet store that has enzymes in it to help eliminate the pet urine....
