i have an audition and although it's not my first one I'm really scared. My agent gave me this big talk about how this could make me a huge star! Now I feel really presured. Has anybody done this before or do you have suggestions? Please help me!

It's like any other audition. They want to see how well you fit the character. They also want to see your personality. Disney is big on personality and multitalented kids. If you can sing and dance and have done a lot of theatre, that's a conversation topic right there. If you've sung in public on a number of occasions (are you part of a band or performance troupe?), pick out your favorites and tell them about one or two. Be sweet, friendly, and everything you've seen most fresh faced Disney kids be when they first arrive on the scene.

I'm curious as to why your agent would give you this big talk.. most agents would simply pass along the audition info. I can see them wanting to make sure you understand that it's important but they would talk to your parent and not put to much pressure directly on you. It just seems odd.

Another note, make sure you are well groomed. Not to the point of "Stepford" but you should look like a cute kid, not the second coming of Damian unless the character you're going for is labeled as such. Also, make sure you arrive early and in a great mood! Happiness is contagious! They'll give you a callback just to keep you around :-)

good luck!
Marianne
