Senator Barack Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, Senator Hillary Clinton and Ruth Harkin stand during the national anthem.
Barack Hussein Obama's photo (that's his real name)......the article said he REFUSED TO NOT ONLY PUT HIS HAND ON HIS HEART DURING THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, BUT REFUSED TO SAY THE PLEDGE.....how can a man like this expect to be our next Commander-in-Chief????

that's pretty bad...
can't pledge allegiance to the country you're trying to lead eh?
i could kind of see his refusal to wear the flag pins, but this just isn't right..
and to the others... yes it is a true story... you can watch the video

I wouldn't get too hung up on this.. OR his Islamic name. (And who cares if his first, middle, or last name is Hussein? There are bigger issues than that.) There are lots of religions out there that forbid you to pledge your allegiance to anyone but your God. Last time I checked, the freedom to follow the religion of your choice is a RIGHT that everyone in this country has.
I absolutely refuse to choose our next president based on their name, gender, or religion. I will choose the person who is the most willing and capable of putting our country back on the right course again.

from your point of view, i guess you are questioning his loyalty to our country. however, i don't think you should use this one incident--for which i see you provided no explanation from obama, which would put his actions in context--for the basis of calling him ineligible to be our president. after all, do you know where he stand on any of the issues? do you know what his plans are for the country if elected? in short, do you know anything about this candidate other than this one out-of-context action that makes you think he'd be a bad pres? after all, free speech is our first right under the constitution, that means people have the right to choose what to say and do, and what not to. we don't live in a dictatorship where we are forced to pledge allegiance, we have a choice. ultimately, EVEN IF THIS STORY IS TRUE (where's your evidence?), don't you think that by acting on his right to choose he's showing the greatest loyalty and allegiance to America and what it (is supposed to) stands for?

In a convoluted way think he's being very honest, how much does our current Pres. adhere to the principles of our constitution? Tell me about a Pres. that ever cared about , of the people, by the people, for the people, (excepting rich people)?

It's not true. I heard about that and it's completely made up. Find a source and evidence and I will believe you!

If you don't like it then you should vote for someone else, but do you really think Clinton is sincere about any gestures she makes? If she thought it would help her personally she would wipe her asss with the flag.
I suspect she does that in private now.

this isn't a reason not to vote for him, but it is darned unpatriotic.
BUT, as much as it pains me to defend him, It's his right.

You really can't. You could if he could do these simple things that all other leaders have, but he obviously can't be our leader then.
