Yup its true I feel I dont have much of a choice being a college student almost close to finals and having this baby anytime possible in 2-3 weeks. Thats right on Nov 22 my due date and I have a paper due and then I have to come back after baby born to take notes and take a final for another class. I dont know what condition I will be in to return like couple days after labor...Its tough because this is my last chance to make no mistakes in my GPA and If I mess up I will get kicked out of the University. Help!

If you want to play, you have to pay. It's nice that you don't want to screw up your edumacation, but your baby comes first. Get your priorities in order.
#1Mommy's physical health
#2 Baby's well-being
#3 everything else.
If you wanted to complete your education, I guess you should have thought of that before you involved somebody else.

Under the best cercomstances, you will be in the hospital 3 days. You will not be able to drive a car for 2 weeks and yes you will be an emotional wreck. I sure was. I drove my car when i wasn't supose to and almost crashed and was so angry at the situation, my heart rate elevated and I was just a whole different person. I lashed out at everybody around me. The only thing i wanted was to be alone with my baby. it was one of the strangest experiences of my life. I would cry because she wasn't inside me and I didn't wnat anyone to touch her or take care of her but I wasn't even ready to take care of her. It was a very hard time and only lasts about a week or two and you straighten back up.
If you decide you can go ahead with your finals, try to keep a very cool head, do what you have to to focus and get as much help as you can. if someone offers to help you, let them! No matter how you feel or what you think you can handle. I send good luck to you and I hope you do well on your finals.

When I was in college I suffered from some medical problems that took me out of school for two weeks. I was so behind that I couldn't catch up. So I went to my professors and explained my dilemna and I also went to my advisor. They all agreed that I should just take an incomplete for the classes. When you get an incomplete you just have to retake the classes next quarter. Go talk to your professors and advisor and see if that is an option for you. That way you can have your baby, recovery time and can then make up the classes so you do not fail.

Good for you in getting your degree. That is best for you and your baby.

I would think that legally it would be like a job where you have maternity leave....or at least that is how it should be! I would go and talk to someone high on the chain and explain that you really need to pass this class and maybe they will let you get everything in early?? Or come back when your ready?? There has to be something you can do...I would hope. Good luck and congrats on the baby.

Can you ask your instructors if you can try to finish early? Maybe jump ahead in the learning and take some extra exams? You should try and ask...

With my first I was 2 weeks late. I don't mean to wish it upon you, but maybe if you're overdue things will be fine.

Talk to your professors. They have almost all worked with pregnant students and they can help you. That's what they are there for.
