Have a new Dado set which I am planning to use this afternoon. Never done it but seems pretty straight forward. Any suggestions or things I should watch out for? Thanks

Make sure all parts are tight and have clearance from the table. Stand off to the side when turning on.

make sure you have the right insert for the table saw, usually you have to make your own

install them according to your instructions...practice on scrap wood until you get the hang of it...
