I have never tried any products for soot removal, so I can't say, but if you eat oranges or grapefruit, burn the citrus peels in your fire place, it will help break down the soot and creosote build up and keep it cleaner, and is much less expensive since you throw them away anyway

If you burn dry, seasoned hardwoods, you will accomplish the same thing. I used to sprinkle salt onto the burning logs and never had problems when the chimney cleaner came, every two years. I used the fireplace a lot. Just as a safety, I kept an extinguisher "flare" next to the fireplace. If you detected a chimney fire, you threw it into the fire and it gave off a chemical into the chimney that put it out.

26. Prostitutes always look like Julia Roberts or Jamie Lee Curtis. They have expensive clothes and nice apartments but no pimps. They are friendly with the shopkeepers in their neighbourhood who don`t mind at all what the girl does for a living.
