you do need to find and repair the leak where ever it is,it needs to be fixed, you cant drive it around like that for long you,ll ruin a good engine, have a shop look it over and they can probably find where its coming from, that's better than trying to guess at it,if its leaking bad enough it can damage your engine, and it don't take long for this to happen, good luck with it.

You must plug the leak or else your jeep will over heat all the time. Being in a hot country would make this problem even worse.

Depending how big the leak is there are products at your local hardware store that once you pour into your radiator fluid will find the leak and basically plug small holes. They usually have Little spheres in the fluid. I think there is also chemicals which will solidify when they come out of leak. b/c coolant system relies on a vacuum when fluid is circulating in closed system. If there is a hole coolant will evaporate out through hole.

If it is sufficiently large then you will have to replace it or get it repaired, usually replacing it is the easiest.

Living in the Bahamas might pose a problem due to salt water around causing corrosion (rust).

OK....No it's not Where you Live! We live in the Philippines and have no problems with our cars.

Can you See where the Coolant is coming from? Might be just Bad Hoses or Loose or Bad Clamps!

If it's coming from the Core (Center Fined Area) it's a good chance it can be fixed. If it's coming from the Caps (Covers Top & Bottom of the core) Then it will need to be Replaced.

NOTE; If you can find a Good Radiator Shop or some place that is Good with Cooling Systems!

Unless you are used to making repairs on vehicles, bring it to a place quickly, so that you don't overheat your car, which would be far more damaging. To repair your radiator is probably something that is of lower cost than outright dealing with the damages. Good luck.

pull the radiator and have it pressure tested and repaired. If the core is beyond salvage, just have them replace the core, or pick up a used radiator at the junk yard.
