I Think U.S.A will loose the super power status more quickly than you think ,why, let me tell you, there are good 3 reasons:

1) INDIA : worlds largest democracy, AND the country with 2ND most fastest growing economy, the GDP of India will surpass that of the US and CHINA by the year 2030 and will become the largest economy in the world, definitely increasing its military influence. the question mostly asked that the worlds largest number of poor live in India which will hamper the progress and path to becoming a super power my reply is that the reports and surveys state that the poverty in India will be eradicated by the year 2027. and will attain the status of middle class and become a vital part of the Indian Economy and boost the progress of India in the Field of economy making it an economic super power. the Indian army is considered to be one of the finest trained and is proving to be a formidable force and is getting modernized with every passing day.

2) CHINA : the Chinese military is growing rapidly and the economy of the china is the fastest growing in the world the CIA fact books states the Chinese GDP will surpass Germany by the year 2009-10 and the US GDP by the year 2020. increasing it economic and military influence in the world. china too has many poor and they to will become prosperous over the years. but due to the dictatorial rule in china the political conditions in china is very fragile and may explode at any time. so unless china becomes a true democracy it cannot become a true super power but still it is a force to be reckoned with.

3) EUROPEAN UNION : It is the union of European nations which have one of the most finest technologies, very prosperous and stable economy and excellent armies. the EU is a force to reckoned with and is one of the biggest strategic and economic unions of all times. the only problem it faces is the disagreements over different world political, military and economic issues if it can over come it, EU will certainly become a world super power of this century.

These were my three reasons why U.S.A will loose it super power status over time.
Remember Nothing lasts forever, nothing has, nothing will,

The British Empire that ruled 1/3 of the globe,
The Mighty Roman Empire,
The powerful Imperial Russia and the Communist Russia,

all have come to an end so will the US domination because there is always someone better than you just waiting for the right moment to reveal himself.

I've said it before and I will say it again. Start taking chinese lessons. We will all be speaking chinese in a couple of years. It doesn't take a genius to figure out US is loosing everything it once stood for and the secrets and lies of its mediocre leaders will bring us all down. Where is a Truman when you need him? On the other hand that would be way too drastic. Lets just go with the flow. Stop unnecessary wars. concentrate on better our own resources and keeping friendly relations. China will wait for the right moment to strike but we as always are underestimating its power and I don't mean only nukes (even though they have them).

All superpowers rise and fall, its the nature of the world. Look at ancient Rome, the British Empire, Egyptians, every single superpower eventually dies. Sometimes it is by their own hands or another power takes its place, but the U.S. will rise and fall just like the rest, it is no different. Within 100 years? With trade deficiets, under production, and over spending, I think you could almost cut that in half. Not even taking into account how quickly the EU, China, and India are advancing either.

close by means, definetly. international means, perhaps. Britain has been sinking incredibly a lot presently, 2 years in the past, its economic equipment replaced into overtaken by using France, in simple terms final month, it replaced into overtaken by using Italy. the significant problem with the British economic equipment is that its practically fullyyt in accordance with banking and finance centers, so in the time of recession, Britian suffers VERY badly, yet in the sturdy days, it has the aptitude to develop devoid of delay. Britians effect will continually stay the comparable. It has agreements with each united states in the commonwealth that it will take care of its terretorial integrity, and in return they're going to take care of Britains. Its no longer something to underestimate, it may be an previous contract, yet its nonetheless valid to at present time. It incorporates countries which comprise India, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, who're all reliable and effectual countries of their very own respective territories. the militia is yet another factor. Will it stay as effectual because it fairly is now ? in all danger no longer. With the excellent crap of a central authority they have now, that are dropping seats to susceptible, racist events such by way of fact the BNP, its militia capability would be winded down slowly to save expenses on greater significant stuff, such by way of fact the economic equipment and wellness care. I doubt Britain will in simple terms fade away and not utilizing a combat, it fairly is going to continually be there, and could be regarded and respected, yet im guessing it fairly is going to grow to be the "New Zealand" of Europe, the place it nonetheless has a say, yet is fairly outspoken by using better, greater effectual countries.

Are you talking about military superpower or economic superpower? As far as military superpower, we could still be a superpower in 100 years. In terms of being an economic superpower in 100 years, those days are already long gone. We are in a long decline that has already started.
