Best description I ever heard of homeopathy came from a doctor on a medical site I subscribe to.
He likened it to throwing a pint of beer into a reservoir and then drinking the water thinking you will get drunk.
I am afraid there are no active ingredients in homeopathic preparations, they rely solely on their placebo effect.

Am using it at the moment ,
it is helping to control pains, that seem to be in the bone, and relieves the dead feeling of the arm, swelling of the fingers with dead fingertips and a painful burning sensation in the palm of the hand. ,because of a bone splinter inside the spinal column that is pressing on the cord.I dont think it can fix this
still need very heavy duty pain killers along side, but it has definitely helped a lot to bring down a terrible pain ,and brought back some use to the left hand and arm .
Some times I can type with two hands again ,
but it is still early days.
For many things it can be a miracle cure
I think it works by waking up the immune system and any other soldiers in the body so that they can go to work and heal .
I have used it ,as a kid many years ago as well, with great effect .
So the only experiences i have had were positive, and if i did not take it now,i would not be here answering,i would be climbing the walls.

As our dear Soul Doctor loves to say it "Homeopathy is the Art of Healing and its a total beauty". For me and my family it has been Homeopathy all the way. Who needs all those side effects from the so called Medicine which our FDA approved drug pushers are so fond of peddling for medicine. Homeopathy is way above the heads of these so called experts like Kalos P, who is so fond of calling perfect gentlemen Quacks and Crackshots I wonder what do the Pharmaceutical industry pays them to spread all this farce against Homeopathy. I am perfectly sure that the likes ogf him have never tried any Homeopathic remedy in their life, they are just too afraid to bite the hand which feeds them i.e The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Look at what Homeopathy has done for Opal1948 can what these morons call just water ever achieve that. Its all out in the open nothing works better then Homeopathy and those who criticise need to learn alot more about healing. Just beacuse they don't believe in does not makes anything invalid what they need is more faith and a lot more education they are stuck some 100 years back science has come a long way since they started pushing their wares for medicine.
Homeopathy works for me and my family and pets too. Talk about water or placebo curing infants and pets and I have to laugh at such bull. Go and get cured Homeopathy is the only way to perfect cures.
Best of health to you

Ahh I see the pathetic ranting of the Pharmaceutical paid goons against Homeopathy, poor blind peope blind to the truth or perhaps just playing the ostrich, Burying their hads in the sand. Like Opal1948 and other people who have benefitted from the miracles of Homeopathy I am another living proof of how ell homeopathy works, PCOS and breast cancer both treated and cured by Homeopathic treatment not to mention my near fatal car accident with mulitple fractures to my arms legs and collar bones the conventional orthopedic surgeon who was treating me now prescribes Homeopathic remedies with the help of Soul Doctor and is now known as a miracl healer.
Tell me about water curing .
Go with Homeopthy medicine without any doubts they are nothing short of miracles provided you have the right doctor prescribing.

Hello trixi, Greetings! They say proof of the pudding is in
eating and not talking about it. Amongst all the answers
above if you read Opal1948 who had close encounter with
death and returned back to tell her story is more then enough
then these paid agents of the drug industry who are hell
bent on tarnishing the good image of homeopathy and other
alternative theraphy so do not listen to these quacks. I use
the word quack because they think that other therapist are
quacks. Actually if you go by the origin of the word quack
which is derived from german word quack salber i.e.
mercury. Administerer of poison is a quack and all allopathy
medicines are poisons so who is a quack? Anyway I do
not want you to be influenced by allopathy quacks and
whole heartedly recommend homeopathy. My experience in vertigo and
kidney stone with homeopathy has been wonderful.
Good luck and Cheers! :o)

My first experience was in france in 1992 and I had been bleeding after a miscarriage and it lasted almost 3 weeks and getting very weak and Joy gave me some homeopathic pills to put under my tounge and within a day or 2 the bleeding stopped.
My next experience came when through an accident at work my face was going septic and I had lots of Splinters of Flourescent tube light glass in my face and after going to the doctors only to see that obsessed with face was written on his comp, I remembered the remarkable effect of homeopathy and decided to try again with another one (Silica) and it helped my body to push out some of the glass but I had to stop it after a week as there was too much coming out all at once which was too painfull. Hope this Helps. My friend gives her dog homeopathic pills for bonfire night to keep him calm

Been there, did NOTHING. Waste of time and money, so I started doing some research... IMHO, any "cures" affected by homeo are either due to placebo effect or enough time passing toallow the natural healing to happen. Homeo is a scam. But don't confuse it with naturopathy, which, depending on the training the person has, can be exactly what you are looking for. make sure to find someone that has studied tan accredited college- a true naturopath will have the same level of training as an MD, but will also have far more knowledge of nutrition, biochemistry, and supplement usage. Some areas allow just about anyone to call themselves a 'naturopath", so be careful- there is a LOT of misinformation and deception in the alternative health field. I was lucky to find two knowledgeable people who helped me with something that nearly killed me and had baffled over thirty doctors. So there are good people in the field; find one who is big on biochemistry and detailed labwork. Here is a link on homeopathy:

Good luck!

I haven't used conventional medicine for me or my family for 10 years since I discovered homeopathy. It has helped in many many ways, my daughter no longer has a wheat intolerance, I am no longer an irritable insomniac and my son's behaviour issues have eased. It works best with children as they have accumulated less disease and usually haven't taken a lot of medication.
Sceptic scientists don't like the idea of it because they get stuck at the drop in the ocean misconception. One drop of solution of the original substance is added to 100 drops of water and shaken vigorously (which in my opinion is the bit that makes something change) then one drop of this solution is added to another 100 drops and vigorously shaken and so on many times.
It works because we all have the ability to counteract outside influences - that's why our cheeks go red when out in the cold. So if we are given a substance that makes similar symptoms to what we are suffering from we naturally counteract it and cancel out our own symptoms in the process. The medicines are very dilute because otherwise the original effect would be too strong to counteract.
New homeopathic remedies are given to healthy volunteers to see what symptoms they experience.
Homeopaths are trained to understand each person's symptoms and to find the most relevant remedy (out of several thousand) in the most relevant potency (out of 20-30).

YES!!! I know as a fact had the soul doctor not answered my question about finding an alternate source for my end stage liver disease that by now I would be dead or in a coma. I was so sick that I had to have help to do everything. I could not stay awake. My roommate actually had to cut up my food, put it in my mouth, and shake me constantly to make me chew and swallow. In three days of taking the remedys I could stay awake and felt better than I had in months. In a week I could go to the store. I had to use a wheel chair to shop because my body was weak froom not being able to do any thing but sleep. Now I can do most every thing I did before. I will never complain about housewoek again. I am so glad to be able to do it again. People who say it is a placebo Do NOT know what they are talking about or they are probably doctors like I had that are to greedy to do anything but give you a pill that causes you to need another pill, etc.,to infinity. Thry gave me pills that said not to take if you have liver problems. When I ask them about it they said that they have to weigh the difference (What ever that mumbo jumbo means) then left me to die. Suprise to them thanks to Homopathy I AM ALIVE!!! My roommate has the same problems I did but not as bad yet. He saw first hand what it did for me and ask me to contact my doctor and ask him if he would PLEASE accept him as a client. I thank God every day that the soul doctor answered my question. If you don't believe it works that is your opinion everybody has one, but I know for a fact it does.

Yes, I would definetly recommend homeopathic medicines. I have used several with never any problems, complications, side affects or failure to work. I have Fibro and take several supplements. To avoid prscription drugs I use homeopathic remedies for headaches, sleeplessness, sinus problems and of course osillo for flu prevention. They treat the whole person and help the body to heal itself, unlike pharmaceuticals that treat just the symptoms for a few hours then wear off.

yes, highly. I have had really good results with it.
But with homeopathy, having a good doctor can make a world of difference. For example, as you probably know, for one illness, there are many remedies & also many variations of the illness that it takes a very good doctor to find the "right" remedy & the right remedy taken at the right time can is what heals.
