I really don't like it when people say that. There've been lots of times when I've had more than I can handle.

Bad things happen to good and bad people. I just live my life trying very hard not to deliberately hurt anyone because I believe life is a circle. The energy you release into the universe comes back to you. If you release negativity, you can't be happy.

Even when things aren't going great in my life, I stay positive. People who go through life feeling like victims, they become victims.

Every day that you wake up is a reason to be happy.

I never liked the quote about God only giving what he knows we are capable of bearing. As human beings, we are capable of a huge amount of suffering. Just ask anyone who has been water-boarded, or had their finger nails pulled out. Kant said we can hope for justice in another life because we are denied it in this one. Maybe, on the hope, for sure on no justice here and now. Human history is one huge study of the many ways it is possible to be unjust. Until Philosophers are kings or the princes of this world become lovers of wisdom, there will be no decrease in the amount of evil suffered.

I don't know why, but I know it happens. But I also believe that there is a hidden justice in the universe, and that when all is said and done, we will see all things resolved perfectly. We are called to live by faith because we are not made to see it all.

To say that God only puts on your plate what you can handle is a perception of God that doesn't gel with Who He is.

God doesn't put anything on your plate or send trouble for the sake of testing you. What God does do is to choose to not interfere directly in the affairs of man unless He is asked to do so according to His will.

God being Sovereign, acts accordingly; and has set things in motion from Eternity, long before the universe existed; and is still operating from that point.

What you are seeing in this world are spiritual laws that are self-governing; the principles that shape reality that are simultaneously being exercised by those who consciously leverage them to their own ends, and by those who exercise them without awareness.

All of life are self-governed by God's principles. When you live in harmony with those principles, you flourish; when you violate those principles, you perish.

But because the fallen angel called Satan (who is called the god of this world), has the power to influence men, he shapes the environment through men via religion, witchcraft, music, drugs, and sex.

As for those who you perceive to do evil and flourish in spite of it, you have to realize that evil feeds evil (i.e., those who love evil things, are nourished by those who do the evil, and therefore enriches them to receive life from the evil).

Notice that evil spelled backwards is LIVE.

You have to play the game, there's no good in trying to outstep the world, the world is cold, to suceed in it you must be on it's level. God is was irrelevent here.

Sorry - I thought this was a philosophy section not R&S. IE dealing with reality not myths.

I think that you have to believe in Karma, or what goes around, comes around.
