I want to cut some of the tall pampas grass growing in my garden to use as part of an indoor display.but dont'know how to dry them out. Any suggestions ?

If you can hang it upside down in a dry place. The natural resistance from hanging will help it stop drooping.

I never bothered to dry mine. Just cut it and stuck it in the tall vase. I suppose it dried out by itself. To stop it dropping, I sprayed it with hairspray a few weeks later.

You don't need to do anything. Plop it in your vase and leave it. You don't need to spray or anything. It will be fine.

PS Stipa grass looks great mixed with the pampas!

Hang up side down in a warm room
It will dry on its own probably though
(Hairspray is a good idea)
