I respect her and I do trust that she has the nation's best ineterests at heart, but she is not my candidate of choice. I am wrestling between Obama and Edwards. I like where Hillary is coming from, but even though I understand that she doesn't want to oversimplify or be put in a position to predict really convoluted situations, I don't feel like she's told me, as a voter, anything between the two debates I've watched. I'm not sure if she's being savvy or slippery, but I haven't gotten any real substance from her yet and I find that kind of frustrating. I tend to agree with Obama and Edwards' stance that we really need a President that will be more open about things to try to restore some faith in the office. At least try to explain things, but I understand that in this media climate of headlines and soundbite attacks where the substance doesn't have to matter so much (the Gotcha mentality) that it is more about not making the mistake especially in Hillary's position, with a target on her back. I still find it kind of frustrating.

I'm not to much of a fan of Hillary Clinton. What I do like is that she doesn't take sh*t off of Republicans. I am so tired of wimpy candidates that fold under slanderous swift boat attacks. For once I'd like to see a candidate that fights back to all ad homonym attacks by Rove and the Republican party. Hillary brings out the worse in Neocons. You guys must really be scared of her. Her candidacy shows how low the Republicans will stoop. I think her candidacy will rally a backlash against the extreme right. It's too bad because I can think of two or three Democrats who would be much better Presidents.

I don't know if I like her or not. I'm just not willing to hate her based on Sean Hannity telling me she's a communist. I have an open mind and an interest in electing the right candidate who will work hard to solve some of the problems faced by our country. Maybe that's her, maybe not. She certainly hasn't proven it yet. Everyone that I know that says that they hate her responds with "I just do" whenever I ask them why. That's unintelligent and closed minded. I wonder the other way: why do people hate her so much? Remember we elected the current guy because we "liked" him and thought we'd like to have a beer with him. Look how that's turned out. I don't have to like her personality, pantsuits, or hairdo. I need to be convinced that she (or whoever I vote for) is going to represent me and take the actions that are best for the USA.

The President should be a popular figurehead that represents the nation overseas in a positive way. They need to move people forward and get nations on board and must inspire the population with enthusiasm for what is right.

after bush she looks great

it's all a matter of perspective.
almost 1/2 of America really thinks bush is the worst President this country ever had.
I think bush is one of the worst leaders in the history of the world (I'm not alone in that belief)

It's not that I "..like her so much.."
it's about taking a step in the right direction after 8 years of bush

She is highly qualified for the position. I admire her determination to break the glass ceiling of politics.

The "man", make that cocaine snorting, draft dodging failure currently occupying the White House is a national disgrace.

We need a new philosophy in our government, for me a return to the New Deal of FDR would be the saving of this country.

She's intelligent, accomplished, ambitious, and surges on despite all the hilary hateration. Whether or not you agree with her political philosophy, I don't think any of that can be denied.

For me, I think it is time that we see what a woman can do as president. I would really like to see a Clinton/Obama ticket.

It is like reading the answer with 8 or 9 thumbs down. And wondering why people hate that.

Anyone with a global slander campaign launched against them by Mister Murduck's Newspapers can't be all bad.
