I hope they use the ball with the aterisk on it, with a sign, so everyone knows you can be a loud mouthed, obnoxious, no talent cheater and still get inducted.

Bonds is not being inducted into the hall of fame. The hall has excepted a donation of the record breaking home run ball, thats it.

Bonds deserved less than Rose and Shoeless Joe. Bonds has gotten much more recognition than he deserves. He knows he juiced and refuses to admit he knowingly did it. All of the Bonds supporters are fools for beign drawn into his whole 'look at me, I'm a huge home run hitter' attitude. All his fans know he did it and they're all in denial about it. He's always been selfish, and his latest remarks are the pinnacle of his selfishness. True ballplayers go their whole careers in the hopes that they'll be inducted to the HOF, and many are so honored and moved to be even mentioned for candidacy. Bonds saying he'll boycott is just him trying to put himself above everyone else, above history and above the game. I'm all for branding the ball with the *, but there's no doubt that the game has taken a big ugly hit because of Bonds.

He's still active so we won't have to address that issue for some time. Bonds is basically threatening not only the Hall of Fame but baseball in general. He actually thinks he's bigger than the game.

All of his stats don't mean at thing because they are all chemically enhanced numbers. Like anyone who cheats whether it be in baseball or on a written test, the score should always be "Zero". If baseball had any balls that's how his stats sheet should read across the board. All "Goose Eggs".

I'm outraged that the ball itself is even in there! What's the point of putting a tainted home run ball in the Hall?

This needs to all be killed and erased from history now and be all forgotten about, before kids 80 years from now look back at his stats and accomplishments and think he's the best. We wouldn't want that, would we?

I have a feeling this topic will be asked just as many times as Kobe being traded, the green dot, and the manning/brady comparison

to answer your question, no, I'm not outraged.... the guy's a fool, he'll be the ONLY one boycotting the HOF, no one will be by his side.

Say what you will about him, you can't say he had no talent. before he started juicing, he was on his way to the Hall of Fame. Shame he decided that he wasn't getting enough attention with everyone focusing on McGwire and Sosa. He put a dark cloud over what would have been a great career.

He is not even eligible for 5 years, but Selig needs to get his head out of the sand (or wherever he stuck it) and do soemthing about this, and about a salary cap that works.

I am outraged at the question saying he is being inducted when he isn't.

I just hope they make his bust with an over-sized head. The HOF could also place his stuff in a separate room all by himself with a huge asterisk above the doorway as one enters. I mean Barry is all about Barry and nothing else.
