Yep- I soak mine in a mild bleach and water solution. I usually do it when I can leave the house and let them soak. Then when I come back their clean. then I drain the tub and spray the shower over them to rinse them off.

If you can get them down, soak them in the bathtub with a household cleaner. Rinse well as the soap can attract more dust when you rehang them.

You are going to need a few things:

Long reach duster with cotton head
Dusting cloths - the kind that attract dust

You will need to wrap the dust cloth around the head of the duster and close your blinds and then just wipe your blinds off, all if not most of the dust should stick to your dust cloth.

I close them completely and then take them outside to my lawn, hose them, then allow to dry in the sun. Keeps me from knocking the dust into the air inside and dripping all the way from the tub to outside so they can dry.

I agree- take them outside and hose them off and let them dry in the sun. Better yet you can take them to a drive-in car wash and hang them on the floor mat clips and do it there..just be careful not to blast them to strongly with water-it can harm your blinds.
