Writers? Strike? Are they kidding?
They could be replaced by a couple of high school bloggers tonight.

To make an English-speaking audience respond, one must have a knack with the English language, not to mention a fine ear for what will and won't work for an American audience. (And I'm talking about high-quality shows like "House" or "West Wing," not the reality TV drivel.)
I think they should outsource the producers' jobs to India and pay the writers what they want.

Oh please let them go on strike!
Without the crap that they try to pass off as entertainment perhaps we can eliminate the Hollywood elite as well.
Outsourcing to India - maybe not a bad idea.

It would have already happened if they have the skill.
I'm not sure the Indian culture would know what makes the American culture laugh. (and vice versa)
