When my children had lice I used baby oil on their hair and then I would comb out their hair. I did this once a week for about a month to get rid of all of the eggs. Yes it is hard to wash out but with the oil it is hard for lice to lay eggs on the hair because they will not stick.

Hope this helps.

Get rid of the lice from ur hair first..
-wrap ur pillow with a towel.place neem leaves on the pillow n sleep over it..the next day u find no lice..
-alternative:Get a lotion from the chemist called Permethrin.apply it for 30min both hair n scalp and shampoo.
Do this once a week for two weeks.

This must have made ur hair lice free..
Now to prevent the regrowth of lice u will have to get rid of the lice' eggs sticking to ur hair..
for this...

Mix 3 tablespoons vinegar to 1 cup of water and apply to both hair and scalp.leave it for half an hour and rinse..Rinse hair with vinegar again while u take bath..then shampoo..Do this again once a week for two weeks..

Now ur hair will definitely be free of lice n its eggs..

my son has lice right now too :( I asked a neighbor who is a n urse and she told me to buy Cetaphil (which is a facial product) and put it in his hair, then use a blow drier on it until it's dried, then to leave it in over night and rinse it out in the morning...

I did this last night and rinsed it this morning and it seems to have worked! I'm am going to do this again tonight/tomorrow to make sure everything is completely out etc. there doesn't seem to be any more bugs, but I don't want the eggs to hatch and have to start all over either, so I'd rather be safe than sorry...
good luck!

Get rid of lice completely... No eggs will be there without lice. So, try to use some conditioner to make your hair smooth without lice.

olive oil, but some of them may stay for a while reguardless...it's just a pain in the butt to try to get out the eggs once the lice is gone.

Actually its really hard. What you really need to do is feel them and keep" combing them back your hair"until they're gone.Easier way is to comb them with the side of the comb without teeth. Gradually they'll reduce.
