That is the big question of the day. OK world. And that
means you too, Brits. There is a situation going on in the
US, with nooses being hung in order to discourage
Blacks, in and throughout the country. Perhaps the
world. They even found one, at Columbia Universirty,
in New York City. Now CNN, has been beaming the
spotlight down on this story all week. But FOX NEWS,
has remained silent. They said nothing. We know that
you Conservatives are racially illiterate, for the most part.
But why are you looking the other way ? Do you not feel
comfortable, with diversity, and what it has to offer, from
a humanitarian point of view ? And do you think FOX
NEWS is being biased toward monorites ? How about
the English, how do you feel ?

would you feel better if they caged up all us white folk? or do us like the Jews were done? we don't have to go over board every time some people go to far. but how about the black on white crime that's OK huh? its just white folk its hardly ever reported thanks to all the screaming about blacks being in the news more then whites

Sarge : I think that you should learn a bit about liberals.
If you say so they may be all those things that you say,in the USA.
Liberalism in the UK means that you can say what you please and have total freedom of speech. We are also against any form of censorship.To this end I would agree with Tich 3020 above, if censorship is their aim. Having said that I know this happened some time ago and the main cause for this to be in the news is not the noose but the fact that there was an assault of some sort afterwards. I cannot remember the details or how bad the assault was (maybe somebody can remind me) but if this was the sort of thing that would normally not go on international news then I can see why it is not being reported.

Pres. Bush should declare a national emergency until these people can be hunted down, shot, skinned, and boiled in excrement on national TV. We should all go on a hunger strike. The entire world's attention should be focused on the hanging of nooses. An international commission should convene to examine this phenomenon, and the UN should patrol our streets in baby blue tanks to deter any further hanging of nooses. The sun should stop rising, the laws of physics should be suspended, and dogs and cats should get along until this situation can be corrected.
And out of curiosity, what does "diversity" have to offer?

There is a lot of other more important news being covered and these are small isolated incidences. As people are being caught they are being prosecuted as hate crimes so justice is being done. No news media will avoid incidents of racsim because they get viewers to watch and that's what ratings are all about. There is such a thing as overexposure or blowing up something out of proportion. We all realize that racism exists and that improvements need to be made but there are other topics to be discussed since this has already been pretty well covered. Its time to move on.

Okay here's the way I see it I am British well Scottish and I don't really much about this story your refering to I believe it was about a school yard fight or something between some white guys and some black guys and some nooses got hung around a tree or something. Okay here's my 2 cents worth as far as I am concerned Fox News like the BBC or CNN has a responsibility to broadcast the news after all they are news organisation and its their responsibilty to boradcast fair news no matter what their political alegencies are. Fox News just like anyother news organisation has a duty to tell the news as it is so if Fox is ignoring this story and letting other news networks cover this story then they are not fulfilling their duty as a news organisation.

Second of all, it seems to me that sensationalizing such a thing would only encourage such nonsense to continue. The idiots that would tend to do such things might think they could get their jolly's out of hearing about it on the news.
FOX news not reporting this crap doesn't make them racist.
But I would expect nothing less from CNN to glom onto this stupidity and splash it all over America.

As a liberal, Im glad that this garbage isn't getting coverage on FOX - it really shouldn't get coverage anywhere. Isolated incidents would remain isolated if the news didn't crap their pants and start a huge mess every time someone was 'victimized' by racism. Real news should get coverage.
