We Americans are the proverbial frog in the pot. Change has come about gradually enough that people are not shocked by each step. We have indeed strayed from the constitution - in that I'm in agreement with you.
We're not in a revolution though, because we're in a bit of a civil war between liberals and conservatives. Each of us has our opinion of what the constitution is supposed to be, and what it means. Neither side is really "anti-American", it's just that we strongly disagree on what's the best thing to do for America.
Do we (1) Tax the rich more and supply better help for the poor? or (2) Tax the rich less and then they can hire more poor people who will then be able to supply for themselves? Neither option is evil, but both sides think their idea would work better - AND both are mutually exclusive, so there really isn't any good "compromise".
As far as dying in a "work camp", slavery exists in all societies, and in America it is called "Generational Welfare Families" more so than "Sweat Shop Employee". Either is a horrible thing, and the one that is in America is huge and growing. Do we (1) Throw more "programs" at it, designed to help people get off welfare? or (2) Create an environment where employers are encouraged to hire here in the states instead of going to call centers and sweat shops outside our borders?
Again, neither side is evil, and both sides want what they believe to be what is best for our country - but both options are mutually exclusive leading to no chance for compromise.
The (or "a") sollution? Play as a team. Half the team wants one play to be called and the other half wants the other play to be called. ONE play gets called. The entire team needs to participate and get the best out of that option - that's what we're lacking now, and that's how the Roman Empire and all past great civilizations fell. Not beaten from the outside, but from within.
America would do better with EITHER plan and full participation, than with EITHER plan and divisiveness.
Diplomacy? War? Well carried out, either might work. With the political divisiveness we have now, it's possible that NEITHER would. One of these plays has been called, the ball snapped and half the team stands there, screaming at the quarterback and chearing the oposing team - not really a winning strategy.

I don't feel the exact same way you do as far as revolution. But what I can't understand is why we're not doing something. This country was founded on fighting for what's right. On average every 30 years or so there's some type of movement. If the average were to keep steady then we should be starting a movement starting in the 90's. This lazy *** generation of ours do not know how to rally (not all of us, I'm sorry to generalize) together for change. All we're doing is allowing the government to continue to gain power. Thank God for the woman in the beginning of the century standing up because if it were up to my generation, we'd still be 'well my husband said so and so it is.' I agree that we do need change and it starts with us.

You should probably calm down. Things aren't that bad. It's true that our debt is ridiculous and the economy has been taking some hard hits, but we're not doomed. The national debt is never going to mean anything. We do a lot of good things for everyone in the world. No one's going to come after us and demand their money back. Hell, even if they did we'd kick the **** out of them. Holding ground is hard because our Army is kind of small and really busy, but we've got the most powerful Air Force in the history of the world. I don't care if China has two million soldiers trying to get the money they loaned us, we can kill every one of them without firing a single rifle. It's true that we're buying to much **** from other countries, but that can easily be fixed by boosting our own industry in the next few years. And that student in Florida got what he deserved. He asked a stupid question, didn't get an answer and then persisted to make an *** out himself and resist the security officers that were simply doing their job. Cheer up, be optimistic and, for heaven's sake, please don't vote Democrat.

I watched that video of that stupid kid being tasered. He obviously planned on being tazed. He tried to make a long speech at this event, and it was Kerry, not this kid, who was invited to speak. The kid didn't ask a question, he rambled on and on and lectured Kerry. When the cops tried to make him sit down, he said "NO!, Kerry spoke for an hour, now it's my turn". This means that whenever a famous person is allowed to speak for an hour, every member of the audience gets to speak for an hour too, and force the speaker to listen? Yea, right....
It took a very long time for him to be tazed. He even said "HEY DON'T Taze ME!" like 7 minutes before they actually DID taze him. This proves that he was hoping to get tazed! LOLOLOL
By the way, i do not like John Kerry, and basically don't like cops either, but don't use this dweeb of a kid as an excuse. He was stoned and wasn't feeling any pain, and made a bet with his stoner buddies that he'd get tazed, and then be a YouTube and Alex Jones star.
I am right.

I agree! We need change, what has happened over the past how many years to our country is insane! I'm not going to point out one particular reason.... but say if that one particular person were say, not in the postion he is in, do you think things would be any different? Would another have handled things better?? But again, not pointing fingers.

I'm super. Thanks for asking. One man's opinion does not make it a fact; and revolution doesn't offer any valid answers.
