I have Sprint and I like them. I'm not 100% satisfied b/c I have to keep a close eye on my bill. I don't have any problems w/ them crediting back their errors but I don't think "that" many errors is normal... sometimes I wonder if it's intentional. Other than the billing problems... the service, itself, is great. Oh, their phones tend to be espensive & overpriced.
A long, long time ago I had a work cell phone that was from Alltell. I LOVED their service also.
At&t is also great.
They all have different coverage areas and options. What works best for one might not work best for another since we all have different needs.

Actually I'd stay away from verizon or any CDMA carrier as their service is spotty at best. I use CellOne and at&t and get best performance from them.
I know a lot of people like verizon but I can show you tons of places in US where verizon has no service and yet CellOne, at&t has plenty of coverage.
verizon really needs to revamp their ads claiming the biggest and best network considering they have no coverage for 3/4 of Pa and Va and very shakey service in the Atlanta area.
same in NY, NJ and most of the eastern seaboard.

I have had Verizon long before the became Verizon. I like the service. I would suggest researching the phones before you buy them (as with any carrier), that way you get the features you want with the reliability you need. I like www.cnet.com for reviews.

Uh, that depends upon your definition of BEST. Factors to consider:
plan pricing
dropped calls
call quality
features
coverage area

I have Sprint, and believe it or not, I think they're great. No dropped calls, good service, the whole ball of wax.
