Unlike most people, I didn't get my driver's license when I was a teen -- ager living with my parents . Now I'm interested in getting my driver's license, but I don't know whose car I'm going to use to take the driver's test . Letting someone use your car to get his driver's license is a BIG FAVOR ! My parents are both dead, so they can't help me out . Now -- How can I get over this obstacle, and finally get my driver's license ?

Do what bad seed said, have someone rent a car for you and drive that. Make sure the person takes out the insurance and puts you as a secondary driver. I

You could buy an old banger. Have a few professional lessons so that you do not get bad habits. Then you can go and ask different friends to spend an hour or so with you every now and then to practice with you. If you spread it out over 3 or 4 friends it will not get irritating for them but you will be getting plenty of practice which is essential.

have to have a licensce to rent a car...so that wouldn't work but i would ask siblings if you have any or a good friend if you could borrow their car.... get your permit first and see if they would let you drive them around for practice and then see if you can use it for the driving test... try to use a car you are familiar with the handling and accessories for the driving test it will make things a little easier for you. good luck

At most license testing centers they have cars that they will rent to you to take the test. after test they approve your permit (stamp it as approved license) if you pass the test ,then you catch the bus home.

take drivers ed and you can use their car to take the exam. after that your gonna have to get your own car because otherwise what's the point in getting the liscense
