It depends on how dirty your clothes were. There may be enough detergent residue in the washer and your clothes to do this load. However, just washing them in moderately warm water and an extra rinse should get them clean enough.
Be cautious about adding liquid kitchen sink detergent. If it foams, you will have problems. Powdered dishwasher detergent is a better option; use no more than a tablespoon.
All the soap/detergent does is clean off greasy dirt. Plain water and the machine's agitation will dissolve dirt and sweat.

I guess if you already washed them you should be able to see the answer soon. If you don't have detergent, you can use shampoo, liquid soap, etc., but don't use too much as they make more suds. Dish washing detergent will bleach/lighten some clothes.

You might want to go to Costco or Sam's on Saturdays. They always have lots of free samples of food, cleaning products, etc. If you are not a member you can get a guest card for the day.

As long as your clothing isn't super dirty than it's NOT that big a deal you could even spot treat any stains with a bit of dishwashing soap or a tiny bit of shampoo... I would also if you could add a some baking soda to the wash water.. I use BS in all my wash it allows me to use much less soap with the same cleaning power ! It also deodorizes and helps rid of stains.. Good luck !

Unless they're heavily soiled (like kids' clothes usually are) they should be fine. Use warm or hot water.

You can also add a teeny bit of dish detergent. That will work on any greasy stains.

I agree with the dishwashing detergent idea, but also add a bit of baking soda.

Toss a cup of baking soda in with the clothes and that will scrub them clean and deodorize them.

They'll be a bit cleaner because they've been rinsed and agitated...but mostly you'll just be redistributing the dirt.
