since the superbowl, where is was so very, very close, one huge trade has made the difference. and that is obviosly randy moss. maybe the better quarterback will prevail despite the big chance since the superbowl. i dobut it. if manning wins, he takes home all the chips in my book. he will prove he is the greatest once and for all. i kinda pull for mannning because of a little bias -- brady is too damn cute and geets all the girls. hell, even my teenie neices flip out when they see brady on tv. how can any man be born so damn lucky? talk about having it all? gee, brady just has hardly any room left to rise. what he already has is too much. but i won't be a sourgrapes or a detractor. he has the right stuff and a lot of people express their intense jealously on this site. god bless them, they cannot help themselves. which they had to post their photos and resume.

Brady is a scrub that got put on a really good team.....have you seen the TD catches Moss makes? Double covered....Brady throws it short, off the mark, at the defender, over his head....but Moss still comes down with it....he may not get as much credit as Brady, but Moss is the reason Brady looks so good this year...oh yeah and it doesn't hurt to have Welker either.....I know Manning is a better QB than Brady, he manages the games, knows when to pass and run, calls audibles, and until this year his defense was terrible......generally he is a smarter player. Brady I swear is one of the luckiest SOBs to ever live...but he is a really good QB, not even close to as good as Manning is. All in all, I guess the good old saying applies here "I'de rather be lucky than good any day."

Before this year I thought Manning was much better. However, after watching Brady this year I am not so sure. The guy inspires his team to do their jobs. The blocking is perfect, the receivers run perfect routes and Brady delivers. Of course it doesn't hurt that he is now throwing to the most talented receiver in my lifetime, but the little things like a pump fake and a quick release help the receivers get open.
My prediction: Colts go up early with a strong running game and the Patriots come back and win a close one in the fourth with the passing game. NE 31 Indy 30

You could take Manning and stick him on the Rams or Dolphins and he would find a way to win. I am not convinced Brady can win outside of New England and I also think "the system" in New England would make Rex Grossman look like a superstar. I mean I could be a NFL stud if I knew what plays the defense was about to run.

The only edge is that Brady has a coach that cheats and gives him the defensive plays in advance. Manning is 10x better at being a field general. Manning has no asterisks next to his accomplishments. If Manning played for the Pats and BB and knew all the defensive plays in advance he'd be throwing 8 TDs per game.

Brady is the better general on the field. How many Super Bowls did the Pats win when their best receivers were Troy Brown and Deion Branch?

How many has Manning won with Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark at tight end, and Edgerin James (or Dominic Rhodes or Joseph Addai) at back?

Manning has always had the advantage of having better offensive playmakers around him making his job easier. Brady has been great at doing more with less. Now that Moss, Stallworth, Welker, and Watson are there...they are giving Brady the same type of playmakers that Manning has had for years.

1 Super Bowl vs. 3? One Super Bowl with probably the best combined offensive talent since the Cowboys of the 90s till this year's Pats offense and compare it to the Pat's three Super Bowls with good offensive players.

Both QB's are great. I would gladly have either one of them lead my team. Manning has the better stats but Brady leads in head-to-head, 6-3 and in Super Bowls, 3-1.

Uh...No...If Manning was a better field general, why does Brady have 3 Super Bowls and Manning only ONE?...and btw, Brady got all 3 of those without Moss...and he will prove this season that it wasn't all about Vinatieri either, as I'm sure some Colts fans are gonna try to point out...

I find it funny that Peyton is the one with 2 Pro Bowl receivers and Colts fans are now suddenly saying Brady's play is all about Moss...Try again, Colts fans...

Manning is better overall, I would agree with that. In the past the pats have had great defense. Currently they have a great offense and although it doesnt seem like it they rank near the top in defense. I would say that Moss is a huge edge now and the pats defense was in the past.

It hasn't been proven to me that Moss is better than Harrison.
Moss makes plays because he is tall.
Marvin makes plays because of his ability.
Therein lies the difference.
