That depends on whether it is only divisible by 1 and 73.

Since 9 x 9 is greater than 73, check to see if 2,3,4,5,6,7, or 8 divide 73 evernly. If they do not, then 73 is prime.

If 1 is the only number that can divide it, it is a prime number. No other number (except 1) can divide 73, so it's prime.
