Does this effect the vampire or the demon in any way, speaking fantasy theories, of course.

Good question, mortal. In my many travels I have never seen a Demon weak enough to not be able to "kill" a Vampire on the spot. Can get nasty, those Demons.

It would utterly depend on the demon. Like what if it was a glaistig or something? A vampire biting something that can become running water- oooh that could get nasty.

I'm actually having a hard time thinking of beings that could be considered demonic that a vampire COULD bite. An Asag would win. . . I mean they're the prototypes for Gryphons- beak, claws- you'd better be one tough vampire.

Although the idea of vampires seems to have originated in the early middle east, and they were mostly demons, themselves, so take that as you will. There were a few gods with vampiric tendencies though, like Nergal, who could trounce any demon just by virtue of godhood.

The vampire would definately DIE as demons are evil creatures of higher degrees in authority and power.

Even a Vampire Lord wouldn't be able to defeat a demon.

Even if the demon is of low degree then it is still not possible for vampires to do such non sense that will cost them their lifes

Evil Vampire?

Well, this sort of happened in an old issue of Hellblazer. Constantine was at a low point, and allowed himself to be bitten by a vampire. But he had demon blood in his veins from a previous incident. Messed the vamp up pretty bad.

But of course vampires and demons are both mythical, so I imagine the effect will be whatever the writer wants it to be.

Please someone explain why what I wrote would be deserving of thumbs downs?

the Vampire would have to be pretty old and powerful i think to bite/attack a demon... unless of course it was a lesser demon..

but why would s/he, aside from battle? the vampire couldn't feed off of a demon... vampires can only feed from mortal creatures, or previously mortal creatures (like other vampires, etc)..

Vampires cannot feed off of demons, they can only feed off of mortals or previous mortals such as other vampires, i would think that if a vampire bit a demon it would probably die, it would kinda be like drinking poisonous toxins or something.

I don't think so that the demon will allow the vampire to give him a bite.

In most of the fantasies I've read, the vampire gets smooshed for his temerity. Unless the demon is really kinky.
