Ah dont go there. Why do people have to make something out of nothing with everything now? Bert and Ernie were friends. Just that. Yeah they shared a lot but they were in a one bedroom crib. *laughs* They shared a basement apartment in New York. Do you know the cost of living up there? I bet Bert was working and Ernie of course was drawing SSI (hes a nut ya'll in a good way). See now Im stupid. Come on, stop it. I think its just safer to just turn the tv and radio off and enjoy life without all the bull in it. So who's next? Big Bird and Snuffleupagus? Bert and Ernie were just the Odd Couple: Muppet Style. Let's just take a step back. They were puppets. Literally nothing going on there. A muppet version of Felix and Oscar, only with less clutter, and everything controlled by human puppeteers. Nothing going on except what's acceptable to parents and small children.
