Yes, I did same thing at that age. I'm 31 now, and I don't regret it at all. Smoking I did all the time anyway, even without a party, but drinking I'd have 1 or 2 at a party, the only difference was my mother allowed both. Just don't over do it. Have your fun, just don't get carried away.

My 13 year old doesnt, shes got more sence than that. Dont you know being a young age drink is 5 times as halmful to you than an adult, your gonna slowly kill your liver and kidneys. Drinking and smoking at 13 youll be lucky to live till your 30. My father died from alcohol and smoking at age 40 and he didnt start drinking till he was 16 so theres a prime example for you.
It shows your mum really Loves you to worry so much and your friends mum obviously is not a very good mum.

No. Hell, I spend a good amount of time fighting against MADD and arguing that the legal drinking age should be lowered to 18, but 13 & 14 year olds? Heck no. The only time someone of that age should be drinking anything alcoholic should be under parental supervision and even then a parent should be conservative on what they give.

Adults especially if they're parents themselves, must take the full responsibility for the safety and welfare of the kids, such as being at a social gathering. No one as a minor (under age 21) should be drinking alcoholic beverages, smoke or even experimenting drugs. Your friends mom ought to care, because those other kids have parents, who care and love for them too.

omg you are soooo cool!!! drinking and smoking at 14 i wish i was your friend....

what is wrong w/ you why can't you listen to your mom she is doing you a favor you don't think that now but she is..when your grounded and have no trust in the relationship w/ your parents i won't feel bad for you

what if your friend drinks to much and their eyes roll back in their head they are cold, clammy, pale or have bluish skin and won't wake up at all? and barley are breathing? what do you do? what are you friends gonna do if that is you?
are you gonna be smart enough to call the EMT cuz your friend or maybe you has alcohol poisoning and might die and you know they send the police too they will give every one at the party under-ages and you won't be able to drive til your at least 18...not to mention the 600+dollar fine! and the 1000+ dollar fine per underage to who ever was stupid and bought you the alcohol maybe even jail time

at 13 and 14 your body and your mind isn't ready for alcohol and smoking now make you addicted til your in your 50s or older think about what you are doing!

what?!
NO you should NOT be allowed to smoke and drink at your age.. You are so young. You're body isn't even developed yet. And you want to do that stuff. Your mom is just being a GOOD MOM! Don't get mad at her because she loves you. You have alot of growing up to do.

I don't find you funny b/c you do it anyway... all i see is a immature little kid that is selfish.. you make a bad name for the PRE teens that are doing what they're suppose to.

No one should be allowed to smoke at parties. Smoking (any type of smoking whether pot smoking or cigarette smoking) is bad for your health, and makes people incredibly lazy. One of my biggest pet peeves is people who smoke - I can't stand it when I'm walking down the street, the person walking in front of me lights up, and leaves the smoke to blow in my face. It's very inconsiderate of people to do that because it doesn't just affect them - it endangers the health of those around them.

I don't think 13 and 14-year-olds should be allowed to drink at parties either. They are simply not mature enough to drink responsibly. When people are teenagers, they think that drinking is all about getting drunk - and people do incredibly stupid things when they are drunk (even people in their twenties). Most people who get drunk try drugs (and 75% of people who get drunk have unprotected sex). And no one can afford to mess up their lives like that - especially not 13 or 14-year-olds who still have yet to get through high school, college, and find a job.

Your mother has a fit because she cares about you (unlike your friends' parents, who don't seem to care if they throw their lives away). You should consider yourself lucky.

Hell no! Smoking damages your lungs, and is really just a stupid thing to do; most people don't think it's remotly "cool" anymore anyways. I'm 15 & I'm never going to smoke and as for drink... well it's not as bad but if ur getting urselfs drunk then you could end up in a load of trouble.
