I would turn cold fusion into reality. With an unlimited supply of cheap energy, the world would instantly become far more prosperous. Wars and threats of war due to poverty and limited power sources would vanish. Pollution, especially that due to carbon burning sources, such as vehicles and coal fire plants, would decrease enormously. The world would become a far better place, and I would not, in the process, have taken away what you and several others here seem to want to take: free will.

if i could change one thing about the world it would be selfishness. i truely belive that a lot of the world's issues come from people not being considerate of others including with different governments. it seems like everyone has a motive behind everything like america is always "helping" other countries but is it really because they are concerned or is it because they are getting something in return

I would make everything be free, money is the route of many problems. I think there is a direct correlation to money and why people don't get a long. If there was not so much need to be competitive then maybe we would get a long better. Now don't get me wrong there are more things that effect the level of peace, but if money was not an issue then maybe everyone would help each other out more and not think so much about themselves.

Change the way people perceive music. Some people only listen to music because their "friends" listen to it. Others listen to it to rebel. Others hate music that isn't their own. Some don't like music at all for whatever reason. But I think people shouldn't look at music as an object...but as a way of life.

I would make respect be the basis for all law. There is too much emphasis on money and material things--laws are written to protect these things more often than not. So sad.

Have nations make choices, based on what is best for the health and future of their people, not whats best for the coffers of a few rich.

feed the hungry and give the homeless places to live. That would alleviate a lot of problems right there.
