I just need more information for my midterm today!

The masses love it. Don't forget, Stalin was insanely popular with the people of the USSR even tho he imprisoned and murdered millions, and Hitler would have been just as popular with Germans if they hadn't lost the war. People love authority. Police state tyrannies are the natural state. They don't care about their personal liberties, not a bit! Judges are now mere rubber stamps for prosecutors, all the legal power and discretion has been given to prosecutors--by the people! So the system is sinking, and maybe its for the best. It was a nice try, but the people just weren't up to the challenge of keeping a free country actually free. Your best chance for freedom is moving to another country, one that has emerged from tyranny, where the people actually value freedom. But not this one.

yeah thats what you do ,move we don't need or what the criminal element's rights that you so want to protect
