No. You do not give more than you can take because it has to be 50/50. If it is not 50/50 then it's not going to work no matter how hard you try in the relationship.

Isn't that what we are supposed to do in a committed relationship. Or at least try to, because no relationship is ever 50/50, but the one receiving and the one giving changes from circumstance to circumstance.

these days there's hardly a 50/50 relationship anymore. U'd be lucky to get 60/40. for thr most part, it 70/30. the best one can hope for is to be the one getting the 70! (lol)

in my relationship, no...its pretty even...which is how it should be, equal as possible, right down the middle...btw i am extremely happy with my love life
